What is the statute of limitations for small claims court?
To find a particular statute of limitations, you can consult the Oregon Revised Statutes. Chapter 12 deals with limitations of actions, but it’s always a good idea to use the index and search for other relevant terms to be sure you’ve found all the applicable laws.
The Oregon State Bar has an information page on small claims court, and the Oregon Judicial Department's website has information on court fees and forms.
Check at your local public library or county law library for the book Everybody's Guide to Small Claims Court from Nolo Press and Oregon Statutory Time Limitations, published by the Oregon State Bar's' Professional Liability Fund.
